The forgotten Genocide

This is the story of Ni, a young Chin woman from Myanmar, dedicated to help rebuild the Chin State.

Ni Par Hlawnceu

Girl on a Mission

Ni is a kind hearted but driven person, dedicated to re-building and helping the Chin people of Myanmar.

The primary mission is to build a library and learning center for young and old, in the jungle of western Myanmar – on the border to India.

Over the last years, Ni has written a book where the proceeds will be used solely for the building of the center. So far, the book has yielded $10.000, and some of the money has been used to build a utility building (Green building in image below).

She travels to the region every year, planning with locals and councils.

The Library & Learning Center

We are planning on opening the Chinlung City Library and Learning Center in March 2025
